Patches:
Patches was born July 10, 2004 and is my first breeding Shih Tzu. She weighs approximately 13 pounds and is CKC registered. She has been an absolutely wonderful dog in my home.
She is the perfect example of what the Shih Tzu breed represents. She has gorgeous coloring, a marvelous personality, and the sweetest temperament. Very rarely has she come across a person she didn’t love. She’s quick to let us know when we have company and is very protective of her family. Although she is very well behaved and trained, don’t let that precious face fool you. She does possess the Shih Tzu trait of being very persistent at getting something she wants!
At the dog park, people have dubbed her as “The Diva” because she would rather sit on the bench and watch over all of the activities than participate. We call her a little old lady because of her enjoyment just sitting in the rocking chair by the window and looking out.

Rylee:
Rylee is the daughter of Patches, born June 25, 2008. She is CKC registered and weighs just over 9 pounds.
Rylee has the most outgoing personality of any dog I have ever known. She has a tendency to crouch down like a cat and slowly creep up on the other dogs and then pounce on them unexpectedly. It is funny to watch her run around the house as fast as she can and then just collapse on the floor in exhaustion.
She has definitely inherited the “Diva” trait from her mother. Although she is very loving, it is on her own terms and if she feels you are worthy. Her puppies have even inherited her crazy and sassy personality. Rylee is a wonderful mother with great instincts. She is a free whelper who needs minimal help during delivery. She and Atlas produce the most gorgeous red and white puppies for me that always find homes rather quickly.

Gypsy:
Gypsy was born February 22, 2009 and is AKC registered. She comes to me from Diane of Frilly Fido.
She is a solid chocolate liver that has a personality completely opposite of Rylee’s. She loves to be held and to cuddle with anyone who will pay attention to her. She willingly comes to you for a belly rub and her snorting is a sign that she is enjoying it!
Despite her calm demeanor, one of her favorite things to do is dunk her head in water bowls and then run around as fast as she can slinging water on everyone.
